Cultural evenings “Traditions and Art”

Cultural evenings “Traditions and Art” is a project of the Municipality of Bansko, which will be held for the twelfth consecutive year in 2026.
The events are organized from the beginning of July to the end of September, every Friday and Saturday, in front of the Tourist Information Center in Bansko.
Residents and guests of the town have the opportunity to participate in organized demonstrations and learn forgotten crafts and skills such as spinning and twisting wool, knitting shawls, embroidering souvenir balls, crocheting, making souvenirs from fabrics, tapestry weaving, demonstrations of Bulgarian embroidery and woodcarving.
The demonstrations are accompanied by folk ensembles from all villages in the municipality of Bansko, which present the local musical wealth through authentic instruments and traditional Bansko songs, as well as the cultural heritage expressed in the characteristic costumes
